THE INTERNATIONAL CELLO FESTIVAL

The annual International Cello Festival brings world-renowned cellists from around the world to Towson University for concerts and master classes. Among performers have been: Amit Peled (Peabody), Ina-Esther Joost (Jerusalem Symphony), Alexander Baillie (London Royal Conservatory), Evelyn Elsing (University of Maryland), Takeichiro Hirai (Tokyo Conservatory of Music), Alexander Hülshoff (Essen Musikhochschule), Steven Kates (Peabody Conservatory), Gunnar Kvaran (Iceland Conservatory), Anatoly Nikitin (St. Petersburg Conservatory), Siegfried Pank (Leipzig Conservatory of Music), Aldo Parisot (Yale University), Janos Starker (Indiana University), and Uzi Wiesel (Jerusalem Conservatory of Music).

Directions to the Center for the Arts
From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695): Take Charles Street (Exit 25S) and continue one mile. Turn left at the traffic light onto Towsontown Boulevard. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Osler Drive and continue through two traffic lights. The entrance to the Center for the Arts will be on your left. We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time.
